Following a strategic review of the company’s portfolio, Mounsey Chartered Surveyors has successfully completed the sale of a former Wolseley property on Sutton Street, Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The sale follows Wolseley’s relocation of its Plumb and Parts Centre and Climate and Pipe Centre operations to Unit 3, Tunstall Arrow, where the business secured a lease of 19,408 sq ft. within Phase 2 of the new development constructed by Network Space and 4th Industrial.
The site on Sutton Street has previously drawn wider public attention after a historic ‘ghost sign’ was uncovered on the building, as reported by the Stoke-on-Trent Live article here.
Becky Thomas, Associate Director at Mounsey Chartered Surveyors, commented:
“The property attracted strong interest from both owner-occupiers and purchasers considering redevelopment opportunities, highlighting continued demand for a range of freehold opportunities within the local market.”
