Mounsey Chartered Surveyors has recently concluded two new lettings at Whieldon Road Industrial Estate on behalf of a management client.

Units 31 and 32, providing 12,862 sq. ft and 9,310 sq. ft respectively of modern industrial/warehouse accommodation, have both been let on long-term leases to separate tenants. Having been instructed to market the units following the relocation of UK door manufacturer, Solidor, to a new-build premises, Mounsey Chartered Surveyors has undertaken a comprehensive marketing strategy to attract two good quality tenants following the refurbishment of both units by the client.

James Craine, Chartered Surveyor at Mounsey Chartered Surveyors, negotiated the terms of both leases on behalf of the client, he commented: “Solidor had been in the market for some time and were holding over under their lease. Once they had completed their relocation, vacant possession of the properties allowed our client to carry out refurbishment works and enabled interested parties to undertake their inspections to carry out due diligence.

“We are delighted to have now completed these new leases, with the achieved rents representing an increase in rental income and providing our client with greater term certainty.”

There are currently a number of active enquiries for the last remaining unit, which extends to 33,518 sq. ft. For more information or to arrange a viewing, please contact James Craine (james@mounseysurveyors.co.uk) or Caine Savage (caine@mounseysurveyors.co.uk).
