Mounsey Chartered Surveyors have had a long relationship with the landlord at Newstead Industrial Estate however we were appointed to provide property management services in 2015. The estate had significant arrears, weak tenancy lengths and was largely under rented.

We provided a root and branch review of the estate to include:

• Condition Surveys
• Review of Lease Terms & Rents

We put together a programme of works for the estate which are still ongoing. This was provided with in the current service charge budget, implementing statutory works and asset improvements.

We have increased the rent on site over the 19 tenancies by 42% since our instruction and have secured the property investment with several anchor tenants. We are presently working with budgets to undertake roof repairs and replacements to enhance the asset and improve the ongoing value in the estate.
